How would my time touch lives?
Over 125,000 servicemen and servicewomen pass though the doors
of both San Diego USO facilities annually. Most just want to relax
and enjoy friendly, familiar company. Many bring their families
and friends and have traveled numerous miles from their homes.
By giving your time as a USO VOLUNTEER you have the opportunity
to assist these individuals with directions and advice or merely
with your company. To most servicemen and servicewomen of this country,
San Diego is far from what they call home. As a USO VOLUNTEER you
have the power to extend them a "touch of home" and help
make San Diego a "home away from home."

all that it does for those who serve our country.

Who are the USO Volunteers?
The volunteers at both San Diego USO Centers are special people
from all walks of life.
Some are mature adults, some are young servicemen and servicewomen
and some are students- but all are of good character.
Most importantly, USO Volunteers are individuals who want to give
their most precious gift- their TIME, to help all active duty military
people and their families! |
